Skateboarding for change
Here's an action packed volunteer experience in an awesome setting. Skateboarders are activating change in a rural Zulu village in the Valley of 1 000 Hills. This project was found on the cohesion of skateboarders, artists and outdoor enthusiasts. The project is testament to the ability of skateboarding and its power to bring people together in the name of fun and self progression. This is a platform for rural children to rise above the limitations of their socio-economic status and develop self confidence while we provide the tools for skills development within the skateboarding industry and beyond. Skate for change run programs from early childhood development, to art, dance, drama, video technology, photography, woodwork, skate park construction to English language improvement. We have a great opportunity here to better equip local aspiring youths that come through our doors through interaction and skills transfer with international volunteers
