Yoga 2 Africa
Yoga, Meditation, Community Development, Organic Vegetable Gardens.

This project is based on a small farm, across the street from 40,000 people who live in Shacks. During your time with us you will enjoy the regular personal practice of Yoga and Meditation, participate in our community development programmes aimed at reducing poverty, and you will work in our organic vegetable gardens that provide free nutritious meals to the elderly, the very young and the sick of our community.
Your Role
Your role:
Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Yoga with Michelle 8:30-9:30am

The remainder of your time is split between the farm and the community.

GRACIE is a simple act of kindness in our very harsh and broken world. We grow our own organic veggies and will transform them into delicious, love-filled bowls of soup for those who are homeless, living on the margins, the very elderly and the infants who are hungry in Hout Bay. It’s true that everyone in this life deserves a little Grace. And we believe that everyone should have a tummy filled with healthy food.

You can also get involved in The Rainbow Youth Academy which is a four year leadership programme in our local Hout Bay schools, bringing together youth across diverse backgrounds to build a kinder, stronger community in our shared future.

Through workshops, field trips, retreats, fun, imagination and hard work, these youth learn skills for peace building, conflict resolution, community service and collaboration.
